Shop theDogWorks/cats2

The Traditional Way to Shop at Urban Axis has been to stop into the store located on the "Southern Coast" of Columbus' Historic German Village Neighborhood. The store hours are 11:00-7:00 Tuesday-Friday, 10:00-5:00 Saturday and 12:00-5:00 Sunday. We are closed on Mondays. If you live around or have stopped by the area, you probably know that parking can be an issue. A general tip for getting a good parking spot near the store would be to Make a Wish Upon a Star or stop in between 3:00-5:00 when the restaurants in the block aren't so busy. If you aren't afraid to walk a few blocks then you can shop any time until your heart's content and if you buy some heavy stuff you can do a drive by and we can throw the goods in your vehicle for you, just like the old days...sort of. Aaahhh! Urban life!!!

Currently, we are extremely excited to offer Online Shopping! We currently do not ship outside of the United States and Canada . A good tip to insure availability would be to order by Thursday evening so we can make sure that most product is ordered and arrives by the following Monday (unless the distributor/manufacturer is out of stock). Most items shown are in stock, but occasionally we may not be able to indicate an out of stock item before you order it, and therefore want to make this possibility clear. Considering that all items ordered are in stock, orders will be shipped as quickly as possible. Please make sure that you check your email (and spam folder!) often after you place an order in case we need to get in touch with you for any reason.

Some items offered are not currently stocked regularly, but rather by special order due to in-store demand. We are making every effort to indicate such within the item descriptions with the wording: NON-STOCK ITEM, and most (but not all) of these items can be ordered by us on Thursday for a Monday arrival at the store. If you notice that we carry a line but don't see the exact product that you are looking for, please inquire at sue.thedogworks@gmail.com and most likely we can get that product for you.

We currently ship UPS Ground or USPS Priority.

Sales Tax
theDogWorks/cats2 must collect sales tax for items shipped within Ohio. Please note that Canadian customers must pay the shipper directly for all applicable taxes, customs and import duties of the destination country.

Insurance
Please note, we are not responsible for packages once shipped. We supply tracking information upon request for domestic orders, but this is not insurance. If your package is lost, you need to contact USPS or UPS. We ship all items with delivery confirmation. The items you purchase are not automatically insured. If you would like your item insured, you need to indicate such in the comment section of your order and we will add the appropriate charge. Feel free to contact us if you would like to verify whether your item will be shipped UPS or USPS.

Delivery Instructions
Please do not inform us where to leave the package at your house. Specific delivery instructions are out of our hands, and you should leave them with your local Post Office or UPS facility. We regret that we are not able to accommodate any such instructions.

Undelivered Items
Items returned to us because they could not be delivered by the carrier using the address which you supplied, or were refused upon delivery will be processed as returns with the appropriate restocking fee. Restocking fees = 20% of the cost of the item(s).

Customer Contact Information
Customer is responsible for providing a valid shipping address, i.e. one that is recognized as valid by USPS at www.USPS.com. In addition, the customer must supply valid email address to which it can receive email sent by us. We are not responsible for communications you do not receive if your email address is incorrect, your mailbox is full or if you have a filter that will not accept email sent by us. In that case, you must contact us if you want confirmation that your order has been processed or shipped, or log into your account for status confirmation. If you are concerned about damage in shipping, you should indicate on your order that you would like insurance. We will bill you separately for the insurance.

* It is the customer's responsibility to give a correct shipping address that will enable the carrier to deliver. We accept only addresses that are consider valid by USPS. You may check your proper address by going to www.USPS.com.

* The individual carrier, at their discretion, may choose to leave the package at the door. If the package is left at the door, then it becomes the customer's responsibility. It is advisable that the shipping address provided indicates the name of a receiver. There maybe an additional charge for incorrect address listed on the order form, or for any change of address once the package has been shipped and in the carrier's possession.

* theDogWorks/cats2 assumes no liability for packages left at the door. It is highly recommended that the shipping address provided have an adult to sign for the package. (At this time we cannot ship orders to NON-US Countries other than Canada and there may be an additional charge for Hawaii, Virgin Islands and Alaska).

* Please note, we reserve the right to refuse service and payments on our merchandise. Prices are subject to change and we do not guarantee sale prices if you return items to make a purchase at a later date. Please note that your purchase is complete upon the date that you submit funds via Paypal. If your credit card is denied, your purchase is not complete and the price of your item is the current price upon the date that you make your subsequent purchase.

Methods of Payment:
We currently only accept Paypal payments, however, please note that we will ONLY ship to your confirmed address with Paypal regardless of the destination address entered when you check out.

If you order several items and only part of your order is available, we will notify you and hold your order until complete unless you instruct otherwise.

Sale Items
Purchases of Sale or discount items are final.

International Shipping
At this time we ship only to Canada using UPS for tracking purposes. Please be aware that international shipments are sometimes delayed by customs inspections. International customers are responsible for paying any customs and import duties. Please note, theDogWorks/cats2 does not collect any such fees and has no control over their assessment. You may want to contact your local commerce authorities or customs office for additional information.

Site Terms
We reserve the right to refuse a transaction with a customer. The policies expressed on this site, including, but not limited to the shipping information, the refund and privacy information together with any other information regarding transactions are the rules that govern use of the theDogWorks/cats2 website. By using this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site. theDogWorks/cats2 reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on this site. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms, please do not use this site. theDogWorks/cats2 may release user information about you if required by law or subpoena, if part of a legal dispute with theDogWorks/cats2 or if the information is necessary or appropriate to release to address an unlawful or harmful activity. Returns: A necessary evil. We have virtually no returns here with in-store purchases, although my "favorite" was from a customer who bought some votive candles and called to complain (many hours later) that her candles had melted all over her car. Summer in the city-- a big "DUH!" So, if you must make a return, you'd better have a good reason. We're pretty lax here, but we have a hard time tolerating "Just changed my mind", or "I was stupid" kind of stuff. Please measure, inquire and evaluate prior to making your purchase. This will help to keep our low prices. Otherwise, if we make goofy mistakes such as shipping the wrong item...no skin off your back and we beg your pardon. Simply email us with a brief explanation and we'll be happy to pick up the item and replace it. We try to provide descriptive explanations with all items to ensure that you will be more than happy with your purchase. If you don't feel that we provide enough info regarding a particular item, feel free to email us for further details. In the rare event that you need to make a return, please email us at sue.thedogworks@gmail.com to make arrangements.
